Zandalir

Zandalir is the elvish former god of magic and current Archmage of Enchantment of Jixaron.

Biography

Jixaron

After the Mortal Coil hit and gods lost their power, the elvish deity of magic Zandalir came joined Jixaron at the behest of his followers who lived in the city. They wanted to continue to guide Sivurn's mortal practitioners of the arcane, and Jixaron was a good opportunity to do so. In 1768 ADW, four years after the rest of the Council of Archmagi reformed, the Council offered Zandalir the position of the Archmage of Enchantment. They did not want to be in any position of power in Jixaron, nor was enchantment any particular specialty of his. But above all he saw the sign of respect it was from the other mages that this position they offered to him was one reserved for only the most trustworthy individuals. Enchantment was the most restricted form of magic at Jixaron and the one seen as the most capable of harm, and the former Archmage of Enchantment abandoning Jixaron came as a shock to everyone. Zandalir accepted the role.
