Omerók, when scrying on Atalanta, saw Meryl leading Atalanta and Grok into The Ardeep Forest, and later in the Feywild.

Jordun told Clymene that Meryl is a "blood hag".

Appearance

Meryl is a shorter Dwarf at a little under four feet tall. She has wrinkled, dry, cracked skin and a bulbous nose covered in warts and scars. Her yellowed eyes and dry lips were described by surviving children as the stuff of nightmares. Meryl's laugh stands out most, a warning to lost, wandering children that they might find themselves in her cauldron for dinner.
