Death Commandos

The Death Commandos are a military unit dedicated to protect political figures within the Thenalion Empire. The sinister name comes from the fact that they are tied, to death, to the political figure and/or faction they serve. These commandos are trained as bodyguards, but double as special forces, assassins, and guards. They incorporate advanced magical studies as well as stealth into their training. They excel as magically talented bodyguards and assassins that will do anything to protect those they are sworn to. Death Commandos are a terrifying force to go up against, as they are trained to be able to counter assassins at their own game, as well as fight in battles alongside other soldiers.

Death Commandos excel at infiltration, ambush, and assassination missions. They have a reputation among those who know of them to never fail any missions they are sent on.

In the year 1669 ADW, a group of rogue Death Commandos served the evil Flesh Mechanist, and supported his sinister operations in Shao-jui. The Flesh Mechanist used this unit as a terror unit, to strike fear into those who oppose him. However, these corrupted commandos were destroyed when their main city of operations was exploded by a bomb, set off by a member of the Like Minded Individuals.

Death Commandos are equipped with dark, Verganium armor that allows them extreme magical protection, as well as the ability to easily conceal themselves.
