Cardinal's Reach is another guild of the realm that prides itself on taking on all forms of adventuring work, from helping local villagers to fighting big bad villains of the realm. Its origins came from the Thenalion Empire, where an old master of arcana decided to set up the guild and build it from the ground up. This individual was named Master Rilis, and is coined to be the first guild master of the guild.

Cardinal's Reach had a period of start-ups and ends. In the year 1696 ADW, Master Rilis created the guild. The guild saw success for a few months, but started competing with a more open Death Knights guild, a group of lawful assassins within the Thenalion Empire. The competition became so toxic that the two guilds fought openly within the streets, leading to a swift military excursion to stop the bloodshed. For a few weeks, both guilds saw bloody violence and tough punishment in the aftermath. This guild strife led to both guilds collapsing, followed by the public's distrust for both organizations. Both guilds attempted to rise once more, for the public and the government to completely shut down both, preventing them from operating for many years. In this guild conflict, Master Rilis lost sight of his son.

It would take many years, specifically the year 1702 ADW, for Master Rilis to attempt to reestablish the Cardinal's Reach guild, but basing it off new principles.

Master Rilis and The Boogeypeople, his first guild party after reestablishing the organization, would set the foundations of operation and how the guild handles itself. These rules are still followed even when, in 1762 ADW, Cardinal's Reach guild saw a massive, global overhaul and faced new enemies, capable of preventing communication and magical travel in a world of evolving technology.
