Gurda
OrganizationJixaron
TitleArchmage of Dunamancy
Term1764 ADW - present
PredecessorVult

Appearance

A short green-skinned woman with young-looking goblinoid features and long white hair and white eyes. She wears long dull purple robes that flow beneath her, as she usually hovers a few feet over the ground.

Personality

Gurda is very friendly but quite strange and pretty awkward. She occasionally trails off and floats away in the middle of a sentence if she gets distracted, but when she does she uses dunamancy to jolt back to the position she was in a few seconds ago, right back to it. Students who go to her for help won’t always understand, but she will always try to help them. Her thought process is inscrutable but usually lands on something brilliant nobody else could think of. She has many strange habits.

Biography

Gurda was formerly an apprentice of Dunamancy studying under Rakar, when the two were investigating the time rifts in Mochmorda where they met Meat Squad. When Rakar left with the extraplanar circle of mages, Gurda was one of few Dunamancy wizards remaining. She started personally training with the former Archmage of Dunamancy, Emileide Rothenel. When the Fall of the Eclipse happened, her expertise in time rifts proved vital to Jixaron quickly understanding the phenomenon. After proving herself in this way, when the Council of Archmagi was reforming in 1764 ADW the Council (on Emileide's recommendation) named her the new Archmage of Dunamancy.
