Biography
Sylkress and her twin sister Melith Mathesen are the daughters of Berukos Darlight and an unknown elf. The two grew up in an orphanage in the Thenalion Empire until Melith was adopted by the Mathesen family. After this, Sylkress' background is unknown but she ended up with the Inquisitors of the Thenalion Empire as the Inquisitor of Warfare.
Sylkress was tasked by the Inquisitor of Surveillance to infiltrate Jixaron and steal the Manuscript of the Bastion of the Eye. To do this, Sylkress posed as a member of the Planar Marines called Sergent Auvryndar. She was in the city when the Platinum Covenant invaded. At the Bastion of the Eye, she met with Grand General Codex and the others who were planning to escort a team of healers and spellcasters to Captain Azure in the center of the city. She joined Captain Ashe Vilehunt and Lieutenant Rosco Croppa in leading this group, which also included DM, Sergent Whiteclaw, and Lieutenant Winterwing. The group fought their way through the city until they reached where Captain Azure and Lieutenant Titan were. Nearby they found a house with dead leaders from the Platinum Covenant, and found on them their battle plans that described their imminent escalation of the invasion. Sylkress offered to invisibly fly the plans back to General Codex, and Sergent Winterwing joined her. On the way back she charmed Winterwing and disguised herself as Captain Azure. She returned to the Bastion of the Eye where she tricked General Codex into handing over the Manuscript of the Bastion of the Eye, saying that Archamage Yvone recommended taking it out of the city. Sylkress, along with two other Thenalion spies, escaped the city and returned the Manuscript and the Platinum Covenant's plans to the Thenalion Empire.
It is unknown how much Slykress actually knew about the Platinum Covenant and Thenalion Empire's plans.
