Lieutenant Melith Mathesen is a half-elf tiefling artificer and member of the Planar Marines.
Melith is the twin sister of Sylkress Quessir, though she hadn't seen her since they were children. Melith was adopted into the wealthy and powerful Mathesen family in the Thenalion Empire. She attended Arpaton Academy and was taught magic weapon and armor smithing. After graduating, she joined Jixaron and moved there. She became the apprentice of Arch Smith Lingot, and would work with him on many projects including the Prototype Xenovoltaic Armor.
Finally, she would join the Planar Marines where she would serve as part of the demolition team during the Platinum Covenant/Jixaron/Thenalion War. For her actions she would be promoted to the rank of lieutenant and be sent on a special mission with Major Azure, Captain Rosco Croppa, and Captain Cynder Vileheart, to Den 26.
