Void Subrace Details

Those that find themselves void have fallen victim to The Necrolestial Body’s diabolical means of destruction and conquest. The very light as well as lifeforce has been extracted from them and to their detriment they still yet live.

Lightless Blood Your blood has been drained of life, your blood still flows much slower than normal but now it is a dark blue color and icy cold to the touch. You are immune to disease and resistant to fire and necrotic damage.

Empty Physicality Your heart beats much slower than it should if at all, this doesn’t affect you negatively however. Additionally, your body is either as dark as the night or a very pale grey and your inner body parts such as your mouth or organs are a cold icy blue. Your body is cold to the touch and no matter what you do you are always unable to feel the sensation of heat. In any temperature you find yourself in you feel deathly cold.

Main Race Choose another race besides this one, which must be humanoid and lack the Living Construct trait (or similar). You are a member of this race and your main race. Your size, height, and movement speed are the same as a typical member of that race. If your Main Race has subraces, you can select one and gain its traits.

Indefinite Age Thanks to the essence being drained from you, your body’s aging process has halted you are now stuck in the age you were when you were drained. Thus trapping you in your current age until you somehow get life and light back into your body.

Corpse Like Stamina Due to your body being essentially empty, you very rarely tire. You treat exhaustion as if it was one level less. In addition, you are incapable of sleep.

Darkvision You are able to perceive darkness with greater clarity. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Languages You can speak, read, and write Common and Void Whispers, typically one available to the race you chose for your Main Race. If your Main Race has a trait that precludes speech (such as a kenku’s Mimicry), you are still not able to speak and instead gain access to the relevant trait of your Main Race that substitutes speech.
