Amazon Oasis
Culture
A great oasis where large and powerful amazons live, it’s a massive, matriarchal village that follows their own laws and way of life within their walls and hunting grounds but it is law to follow and uphold the laws of other places they are visiting or be considered less than nothing for dishonoring their way of life. Those that fail to follow the laws of places they are visiting will be tied to a creature's back and exiled or just straight up executed depending on how bad your crime was. A large majority of the village is composed of amazons, orcs, firbolg and other larger races. There are some humans, elves, dwarves, tieflings and the occasional aasimar but they have a harder time living in the village due to it being a place that leans more towards being accommodating for larger folk. Thanks to years of conflict and the help of the Redeemers the current ruler of the oasis Quargala Queen of the First Order was able to finally crumble the first order and push the oasis towards a better future where they can coexist with other societies without judging them based on their strength and the elimination of the first order's enslavement of men within the oasis.
Subcultures
The Ikaika
Due to the oasis' simple way of life there are two very prominent cultures within the general culture of the oasis. The Ikaika subculture is the general culture of valuing strength over beauty as they are strong and powerful that are willing to sacrifice everything to be strong even their beautiful features. This subculture are responsible for many great contributions when it comes to innovations in combat, they make clothes that are comfortable and feel like a part of you when you're in combat. They are also the ones that are responsible for the material plane's second biggest and heaviest weapons for humanoids, with giants being in first place. Their magic isn't really taken too seriously as most spells from them consist of roaring and throwing rocks but some nay sayers out there believe that they are not to be under estimated.
The Nani This is a subculture that are the complete opposite of the Ikaika they value beauty over strength. They, are responsible for most literature and art from the oasis as they spend their time out the oasis and in the desert lounging around adoring their own beauty and the beauty of others. They are responsible for making clothes that are comfortable for lounging around exploring the desert. They are often found in towers that have multiple floors up top and multiple floors down below. The floors up top are for lounging, hanging out and making art but the floors down below are for times of pleasure and debauchery. These, amazon are know for being suppliers of a large majority of the world's romance novels most novels are loose interpretation of actual experiences they have during the day and night.

Rulership
Currently Quargala is the ruler of the oasis and she has been in power for 23 years because she has been in the process of bringing the oasis to a renaissance. She has been using the First Order to repeal the laws of the Old Order. Once she is done eliminating the Old Order she will allow the rulership to return to how it used to be. The way the village usually decides leaders is by having a tournament hosted by the five major houses Wolfden, Bearavine, Eagleroost, Elkove, and Tigeriver they are all ruled by whoever is the strongest in each house. Every 10 years each house sends the representative they want to rule to a ritual combat tournament. The strongest of civilian families are allowed to join the tournament to run as well. Whoever wins rules the whole village for 10 years until the next tournament. If someone who isn't a part of the five major houses wins the tournament their family is treated as a major house until the end of their rule.
Whoever rules the oasis can be challenged to 1 on 1 combat and the ruler must accept. If the challenger wins, then they become the new ruler for 5 years until the throne can be challenged by all once again. The laws are quite simple in this village, no murder in ritual combat or you will be executed swiftly.
There is a special clause for change of rulership that dictate that if the oasis is in a time of crisis whoever kills the ruler becomes the new ruler until the time of crisis is dealt with. If the person that killed the ruler was not a citizen of the oasis but they were helping an amazon in combat, the amazon associated to them will become ruler. If the killer isn't associated with an amazon they are targeted for execution the strongest among the five major houses will have a small tournament to quickly decide a new ruler until the time of crisis is over.
History
The Amazon Oasis always had conflict as a major part of their culture and history. The amazons were goliaths that left The Giant Lands in pursuit of escape from the war between the and the elves. Their search for a new home led them to the desert. They braved through the desert like a tundra and found themselves in a paradise that they claimed for their own. After years of adapting to the harsh environment and building a home a leader rose up to in state the Order the original rules of the Oasis which crafted a warrior society that respects the strength of others. Men and outsiders were scarcely allowed to live there but they may enter to watch tournaments.
In the year 1319 (ATGILW), Queen Eriness the first queen of the amazons to greatly change the rules of the oasis. She used this power to impart harsh rules that makes living in the oasis better for the Amazons but not for anyone else. This makes it hard for outsiders to see trading. Her ruling is deemed Old Order by other Amazons and historians. It was originally a decent way of living, men and outsiders were welcome to visit ore and even live there if they so choose. at one point. However, a group of adventurers were sent in to investigate her as it was discovered she had ambitions to ascend to Greater God status. Their mission was to find evidence and stop her. She knew that if she let them in and something happened to them, more would come so she changed Amazonian law to protect herself from future enemies that come to Amazonian soil. However, not all Amazonians were on board with this and tried to stop her but a large majority liked these new rules since they could have more power, status and wealth by trading a new self-sustaining resource, men. Men at the time were seen as either slaves, breeding stock or playthings unless they prove they are strong enough to live as a citizen in a trial of might, however even if they are seen as a citizen they are ineligible to become ruler. Men that have not done the trial of might are deemed “up for grabs” if they are not claimed and will be used for work, breeding, or kept as a “boy toy” by some villagers, and if a man fails the trial of might then they are not even suited for breeding and are just slaves for house work. A large amount of amazons were greatly opposed to this and a group called the First Order was formed to oppose the Old Order and bring the oasis back to it's original rules before the rule of Queen Eriness. Eriness has plans and machinations to destroy the First Order as well as law changes to make her plan go uncontested however, these changes in law and plans were fruitless. The adventurers found the evidence of her plan to take the oasis from the amazon and trade it to a entity that would give her a divine spark so First Order turned against her. She was defeated when she gained Greater God Status by the adventurers and the amazons that rebelled against her. Once she died she was still a God and the gods punished her by giving her, her own domain, that being the Amazon Oasis itself so if she wanted to keep her greater God status she was bound and forced to protect the Amazon Oasis with her life.
Due to the Old Order conflict, the rulers of the oasis for the next 230 years heavily favored the Old Order rules and kept them despite them being part of a ploy for power and the protests of the First Order. One notable figure who helped refine the Old Order's rules was a woman named Lucinia The Inferno Legend, mother of Vernagala The Man Breaker and daughter of Eriness. Lucinia attempted to secretly destroy the First Order where the crooked queen failed. Her plan was to work with the First Order and convince them her plans were to undo changes her mother made, while also sabotaging things for them on the low. She commanded a stealth regime called the Veiled Sands that would assassinate key members of The First Order and demand changes or more people would die. Lucinia would use the help of an Oracle Vampire that she had enslaved to drink the blood of key members that she "accidentally" drew when sparring together to get insight on where they will be as well as the time they are at their most vulnerable. Lucinia pretended to be wary and made these demands a reality but the Quargala caught on and fought the Veiled Sands with her royal guard and dismantled their forces and traced it back to Lucinia. A fight broke out and Quargala won, after being killed by Quargala, Lucinia became to the first Champion of The Amazon Oasis and was bound to an urn.
Quargala was made Queen of the Amazon Oasis after killing Vernagala with the help of the Redeemers. After the death of Lucinia she tried to get rid of the False First Order rules and member so that she can restore the true First Order rules but Vernagala was a huge thorn in her side and used an oracle vampire that her mother imprisoned to see what her plans for the First Order was and would leak info and turn people against these rules making the people fear losing their wealth and status and impose panic. Quargala was confused about the info leaks and would send teams to find leakers and silence them. All of them were killed and eventually Vernagala would frame it as The First Order having something to hide. Quargala eventually found out Vernagala was behind it and challenged her to ritual combat to not only clear her name but to finally put an end to The last member of the Crooked Queen's family. But she lost and was killed. When her death came the death of the First Order was seen as an inevitability. However, this was part of the plan, since Vernagala was distracted by this fight and the Sea Sand War preparations, the Redeemers were able to infiltrate her house and eliminate the oracle vampire. Once, the vampire was dealt with Quargala was revived in secret and sent to the god's afterlife party moonlighting as a ghost to trick Vernagala into further thinking she killed her. Once the Redeemers stormed the fort Vernagala was in, Quargala snuck in while the Old Order troops were distracted and flanked them taking out the back line that were armed with longbows. With the help of the Redeemers, Quargala was made queen of the amazons and worked tirelessly to restore the oasis to its former glory. Her first order of business being eliminating the rule that forced men into enslavement.
23 years later the oasis is back to it's former glory and is hitting huge strides in development of weapons, armor and even magic with the help of imports that they were incapable of getting with Old Order instated.
Champions
Amazon Oasis champions are often their most dangerous criminals that have had their body and soul cremated and put into an urn whoever wields the urn can summon and control the warrior. Lucinia was the first Amazon to be sentenced to this directly after her failed attempt to secretly destroy the First Order where the crooked queen failed.
