We Are the Danger was a widely popular band in the Alliance for whom music was a way to rebel against the bourgeoisie and corporate warlords. They are attributed with starting a cultural revolution and introducing the realm to rock music.
Its members were:
- Cole Young (lead vocals, guitar)
- Olivia Cadre (backing vocals, rhythm guitar]]
- Blake Heely (bass guitar)
- Samantha Heyward (drums, percussion
- Jaime Fitzsimmons (booking and recording)
The group's name was coined by Jaime Fitzsimmons, inspired by fact that their first house shows were criticized as loud, obnoxious, angry yelling that could inspire dangerous thinking and behavior. Jaime and Cole took the criticisms as proof they were on the right path in inspiring the masses to stand up to the powers that be in any and all capacity. They adopted the name as a way to mock those in power who felt the group were dangerous to the status quo.
