Ti'zirrith is a githyanki chronurgy wizard and detective with Mystery Inc.
Appearance
Ti'zirrith is very tall and lanky githyanki. He has a flat nose, pointed ears, and pale yellow skin with dark spots. He wears big clunky boots and a metal breastplate that fits awkwardly on his lanky frame. Below this he wears simple raggedy clothes and lets his hair grow out unkempt. He wears goggles in place of glasses, given his githyanki facial features. He usually wields a gold-colored scepter.
Biography
Backstory
Ti'zirrith was born in the githyanki capital of Tu'narath in the Astral Plane. He has been assigned by Vlaakith to study how time on the material plane works. On the material plane he established himself as a chronurgy wizard in a tower outside Meadowcraft. He found that life on the material plane was different from in Tun'narath. He learned that had to acquire money somehow, in order to pay for things like food so he could continue his studies. This lead to him taking odd jobs, usually the small things people nearby that aren't spellcasters would hire a wizard to do. Eventually he would try his hand at investigation, which his research-focused mind made him adept at some aspects of, but insufficient at others.
Mystery Inc
The city Hadleigh put out a call for investigators to look into the "Demon Barber of Hadleigh" who was committing murders in the city. Ti'zirrith, Riley Scarlet, Remus Cousland, and Dr. Dimitri were brought on to find the murderer. With the help of Raiah Theron, they found Benjamin Barker and Mariah Birchstone guilty of the crimes and fought them. Afterwards, Ti'zirrith said his goodbyes and returned to his tower to continue his work.
Later he reunited with Riley and Remus, as well as Cody Brody and Dr. Targea Blackpyre, in Val-Adin. There they were sent by Elvira Windhelm and Tuunbaaq Miastroth to investigate the pages that were causing people to kill themselves or others, from a murderer called "Jericho the Death Scribe". While here, Ti'zirrith visited the Noble Arcaneum and met Mathias, who he discussed working on research with. They found that Jinko Kurosawa was the culprit and chased him through the Arcaneum. During the chase Ti'zirrith nearly died but was healed by Cody, and Ti'zirrith gathered some of the cursed pages. Ti'zirrith once again returned to his tower to continue his studies.
In the following months, Ti'zirrith would spend less and less time at his tower and more at the Noble Arcaneum. When the tower was using too much of his earnings to be worth it, he left the tower to his then-apprentice Finethir Shinebright. He moved to Val-Adin and continued his research at the Arcaneum full-time, working more with Mathias and the other wizards and arcane researchers.
Ti'zirrith, Riley, and Remus were called together once again to investigate the "See-No-Evil Killer", a serial killer who had murdered clergy members of holy churches in Val-Adin, Hadleigh, and Krakenrock and removed their eyes. The three once again met in Val-Adin, where they were joined by Dusk. Through the investigation it was found the victims were former members of the Order of the Forbidden Eye, a cult dedicated to the Whispered One, Vecna. They eventually chased down the killer to an abandoned mine. After a brief altercation, the mine collapsed burying the killer beneath the rubble. Mystery Inc would escape in time and rescue Raiah Theron, who the killer had captive in the mine.
With the renown from stopping the See-No-Evil Killer, Ti'zirrith, Riley, and Remus would found Mystery Inc as a true detective agency, based in Hadleigh. Cara Fynth, who they had met in Val-Adin's temple of Oghma, joined them. Among others, Minato Yoshida would also join as the agency grew.
