Atalanta

Clymene's mother. Atalanta is the defeated leader of the Purists, a hate-group dedicated to keeping Elves "pure".

When Clymene joined Croak and Dagger, Atalanta was both hurt and mortified to learn that her daughter would rather be an adventure than take on responsibilities at the village. Croak and Dagger met Atalanta on their first visit to Yulyu where they learned that the villagers had promised Hildr Firebrand an obscene amount of gold for killing a few bandits. To Atalanta's surprise, Croak and Dagger talked Hildr's cost down and paid her. It wouldn't be the last time Atalanta ran into Hildr, especially when the Fallen Aasimar began kidnapping villagers. Atalanta displayed great feats of speed against the fight against Hildr, but was ultimately overpowered. Hildr broke Atalanta's spine against a tree, permanently paralyzing her. During Tuunbaaq's coupe of Yulyu, Atalanta challenged her to a formal duel. Ultimately, due to her disability, Atalanta lost and was exiled from Yulyu with her husband. Information from Jordun revealed that Atalanta and her husband were with Jordun's daughter at their family home. Following the events of Tuunbaaq's seizure of power, Atalanta's alliance with the Forsaken was revealed. Despite her physical upgrades, Atalanta was ultimately defeated at the hands of her daughter's team.
