Bomkorekor was once a dwarven kingdom. It now is broken up into Onolbom, Inenbom, and Okirbom.

History

The last king of Bomkorekor was Mordaru Stonebreaker. After his death, several competing forces tried to fill the power vacuum. Kristryd Stonebreaker was the princess and Mordaru's named heir. She had become a prestigious general in Bomkorekor's military. She wanted to fortify the kingdom's position, especially underground, then push outward with conquest wars for expansion. Kristryd wanted to expand Bomkorekor's military even more than Mordaru had. Magda Selevarun was the illegitimate daughter and actual first-born of Mordaru. She had gained enough popularity with the people of Bomkorekor to start a small conflict, with many supporting her claim to the throne, especially since she promised to open trade to the surrounding nations and attempt alliances instead of conquest. Very shortly after this conflict began, High Priest Hofri Steelfist declared that Pelor told him that the church should rule the nation. The Order of the Golden Sun backed his claim, as did many followers of Pelor. Pelor followers lived on the surface, and were most of the kingdom's farmers.

The conflict grew into a short war. As much as territories changed, Kristryd never lost the capital. By the end of the war, the three forces developed into their own nations. Kristryd founded Onolbom. Loyalists to Bomkorekor consider this to be the kingdom's true successor. The underground portion of the kingdom, including the capital, would become part of Onolbom. Magda founded Inenbom. While they wouldn't maintain as much territory as Bomkorekor, Inenbom would control a large territory. As Magda promised, the kingdom had good trade relations with the Maelstrom Empire. Hofri went west and founded Okirbom, which would later be part of the Kingdom of Goldmask. Onolbom and Inenbom continued to fight both each other and Ardeep in the Endless War.
