Biography
Koi was born in the Sage City, the child of Gerron and Josha Ana'koi. He went to the Apex of Innovation, an elite artificer academy taught by Magistrate Bolt. Here he befriended his classmates Aldin Thorin and Zofia Atmos. After studying the void, he also developed two apex innovations while at the school, the Deadfall Tether and Void Link Inciter.
Koi was contacted by Magistrate Bolt and met with him and Inquisitor Nale at the Inquisitor's Hall in Shanlume, where he met Krauss Fortice. The two of them would travel to Undaris to oversee the safety of the prisoners at Commander Romulus' camp being moved to the Mines of Rot and investigate the missing supply shipment. The prisoners were successfully transported, but the next morning Koi and Krauss found that Lieutenant Dust was a traitor and soon after the camp was attacked. Olyver Embers and Sira escaped in the chaos. Koi, Krauss, and Romulus took the remaining prisoners (The Red Blade, Veteneris, and Dust (who would die on the way)) to the southern camp, where the remnants of the Boogeypeople were being retrained.
Koi and Krauss joined with the survivors of the southern camp, which was also attacked. After hearing that they saw Aldin and Zofia as their enemies (to varying degrees), Koi decided to stick with the party. They began by investigating Inquisitor Orin's room in the Inquisitor's Hall.
