The Nine Dawns church is an organization of combined religious faiths under one banner. As a direct result of the [[Divine War]], many cities throughout the world had multiple churches that would often compete for space. Lesser deities would still actively create followings and try and sow competition that older churches could not keep up with.

The Nine Dawns was created to stop this competition and prevented any more religious wars from beginning. The Nine Dawns is a reference to the alliance of gods known as the [[Gods of Dawn]] who joined forces together during the [[Divine War]]. These gods included the following: [[Pelor]], [[Saranrae]], [[Ehlona]], [[Oghma]], [[Waukeen]], [[Tyr]], [[Sune]], [[The Star Queen]], and [[Eldath]]. These 9 gods formed this alliance, and are all mostly on the neutral to good side of the god's alignment spectrum.
