Along with that she was also corrupted and starting to be altered and changed by the power of the Mind Bender without her conscious knowledge. She witnessed many terrible things that only added to her ever growing trauma, things like the death of many soldiers, beasts summoned by the hag’s terrible magic, children being used as child soldiers and dying. The hag abused them in many ways such as starving them, threatening to eat them, eating the dead ones and even wearing the face of one. This made her a bit squeamish and a little sensitive to gore but that’s not all. This complicated her relationship with the magic within her, she remembers the great things her mother showed her with magic but that gets muddied by the horrible things the hag did but now that at this point she realizes she has magic within her and it terrifies her.
