All she had to do was keep the ship's title somewhere safe, and then she could go pick it up in Sandstone Harbor. As Blue left for Sandstone Harbor, the thieves used the portal on the fake ship deed to steal everything in their family's safe, including the deed to Arkos' butcher shop. Blue found herself alone in Sandstone Harbor when she got the news, and decided she needed to save up the 5,000gp ransom the thieves were asking for to return the stolen loot.
