Appearance

Charles looks like he puts in the minimal amount of effort it takes to not look homeless. He has medium auburn hair that is hastily combed back with long sideburns. Charles rarely shaves since his experiments have all but singed any remnants of a beard or mustache. He has light green eyes that are always studying and deconstructing objects and artifacts around him. Despite his lankier build, Charles is very fit since he’s usually the one lugging his own supplies and tools around with him wherever he goes.

Backstory

Childhood

The second-youngest child of five siblings, and the youngest surviving sibling, Sam grew up with her siblings on the poorest, western-most boroughs of Meadowcraft. Sam's dad was a metalworker who worked overnight at the coal mines while her mother did laundry for the wealthier families. Sam and her siblings were victims of physical abuse at the hands of their alcoholic father. This drove Sam through bouts of anxiety and depression when she got older. When Griffon left to serve in the Seven Year War, and Charles left for school, Sam stood and protected her little sister Abigail. Sam's mental health plummeted between school and home, so she took to the gym to work off her demons. Every bad day, depressed thought, elbow from her dad, was worked off at the gym or spent running late on the track. Sam found her escape pushing her body to the brink, running for hours on end until her feet bled through her shoes. When she was old enough, Sam tried out for high-school Blood Bowl and eventually made team captain in her Sophomore Year.

The Meadowcraft Marauders

Sam is a natural born athlete, so it surprised nobody when she was drafted to the Meadowcraft Marauders right out of high school. Sam is the Running Back for the Marauders, and is one of the fastest, rowdiest players in the league.
