Adeline Greymind was a wartime nurse with the 41st Winged-Nurses Regiment, a volunteer group who treated wounded at any number of rebel outposts during the Seven Year War. It was during the war that Adeline met her husband Skulk and where she taught him to read and write so that he may write her letters from the frontlines. Adeline was the survivor of a chemical bombardment which rendered her blind and temporarily paralyzed across half her body. During her recovery, Adeline taught herself and Skulk how to read and write in braille which they continue to do to this day. Adeline is a soft, loving woman who smooths out all of Skulk's hard edges and calms him like no other.
