Appearance

Shiro was a stunningly beautiful young lady with fair skin and long, gorgeous bright red hair. After a mysterious, powerful, incredibly painful curse was bestowed upon her, Shiro was changed into a tiefling. Over time she carefully altered components of the curse so as to have a more alluring, white-haired appearance. One suitable for the famous head mistress of pleasurehouse.

Backstory

Princess Shiro and Chimera Coven

Shiro Shiniami was the illegitimate daughter of a then believed sterile, Emperor-King Oswald Tettares and an unknown (quickly deceased) handmaiden. Conspirators were quick to out Shiro's lineage so as to protect her and have a challenge to any claim to the throne from Oswald's cabinet. Oswald was ultimately forced to keep Shiro at his side and alive, or risked a total social upheaval from beneath his feet. This wasn't to say that Shiro was welcomed, loved, or even remotely cared after outside of basic necessities. Behind closed doors, Victoria Briarwood was teaching and tutoring Shiro in mathematics, literature, philosophy, and science when Shiro showed the first signs of magical aptitude. It was Victoria who intended on using Shiro to dethrone Oswald well before his expiration date. Victoria's plan was thrown on its head when years later Shiro became intimate with a Praetorian guardsmen, and pregnant with child. The child would circumvent Shiro's claim as it was revealed to be a boy, a technically legitimate male heir. To keep her child out of the bloody battle royale that was Parlusian politics, Shiro took the boy in the dead of night and used her magic to cast it somewhere Victoria, Oswald, and all of Parlusia would never find him.

As punishment, Shiro was thrown into the Solarium Coven System, where female mages were sent to be trained to be loyal oracles to Parlusia and its leaders. There Shiro found a family unlike any she'd see or be part of again. A sisterhood of casters from all walks of life who built one another up and aided each other in navigating the everyday nonsense of academia. The sisterhood of Chimera Coven were associated with evil witchcraft, sexual deviance, and wicked rebellion. Historically the Chimera Coven were responsible for paving a path of destruction and dissent across the empire, freeing hundreds of their sisters from bondage who were being labeled as rogue mages. It was Chimera Coven that became synonymous with the wicked, witchy femme fatales that storybooks continue to paint female casters as. When the dust had settled, it was rumored that Shiro had defected from the Coven but not before dueling none-other than Tasha the Dark herself. Books say that Shiro had spared Tasha's life so that the less-than witch would spend the rest of her life trying to catch up to true strongest witch in all the realm.

The Lady of Red Pleasures, Death

After a number of centuries, Shiro reappeared in Sheng-Lao as the owner and proprietor of the Crimson Silk and Lace Dollhouse. A respectable house of pleasure where Lady Shiro and her staff offered intimate, one of a kind intimacy and emotional companionship. Shiro went on to use her abilities to detangle the emotional intricacies of trauma-induced anxiety and depression as a special service at her establishment. Lady Shiro was a well respected and well-loved member of the Wei-Tao community. Lady Shiro's incredibly legacy came to a tragic end when Praetorians disguised as members of Sheng-Lao's Shinsengumi, entered Lady Shiro's establishment under the guise of searching for Croak and Dagger after hearing of a tip from one of its members. Nobody knows how they overpowered one of the realm's greatest mages, only that they beheaded her, slaughtered the staff, and left the building a roaring tinderbox of embers. What remains of Shiro's name is printed in historical texts, and her two surviving children. Both of whom will no doubt carry on her legacy in their own ways.
