Melanie Abdel

Melanie Abdel (Firebrand) was a powerful witch and a member of the Rangers of Oakvale. She was Craig's wife and mother to Hildr. Where most found Craig to be an incessant little shit, Melanie found him charming and imaginative. She loved sitting by the fire and listening to Craig prattle on about another big idea he had or the next big adventure for the group. Melanie was nothing if not optimistic and forgiving, something she tried to pass on to Hildr. Despite the tension between Craig and Hildr, Melanie did her best to support and love them both and bring them to an understanding. It all came to a head the night Hildr lashed out at Craig and accidentally killed Melanie in the process. She is buried at their home just outside of Kartenheim.
