Appearance

Dirty blonde hair, though despite being a mountain dwarf she keeps herself well-maintained. If anything she's more like a normal human with how she presents herself if you disregard her shortness. Her height is of traditional average for dwarves being 4'4. She's quite fit and shows feats of having worked in mines for many years and furthermore for being a guardian of a carnival.

Personality (WIP)

Eager for adventure and optimistic in life! Though she wasn't exactly the happiest person back then. Her confidence had grown since working at the Carnival, though things have reset back to zero.

It's not difficult to see she's quite cynical during the events of the Catalcysm. With the loss of two close friends in a row when the latter could've been avoided. She's quite selfish and has a focus on self-interest, prioritizing her own survival several times and even hesitated to save someone at the cost of a weapon. She had thought endlessly that the world was against her and that people were frustrating, leading to quite a bleak outlook in life and an overall unfriendly at times vibe.

She has since then gotten better thanks to both inspiring words from Croak and Dagger's finest members (all of them) and Logan's encouragement and the end of the apocalyptic event. She had moved from the way of striking back at those that are a threat to her, to instead wielding a shield to defend those who she can care for.

Generally

Aileen is usually a passive person, finding little reason to join in on conversations unless forced to act. Though she is eager for adventure, much pressure and concerns had left her doubtful and hesitant to the call of adventure. She finds little reason to trust others unless exposed to them enough, even struggling to convey proper words to calm down an angry child and managing to make one cry. But to the people she know well, she finds them reliable and hard to distrust. She is also a money grubber though for the reason of sending it repeatedly to her family from her home village, having never once stopped sending her own earning to them.

Immediately panics if ever in the center of attention, instances being the debate to get the Conclave to aid them and even in the gift giving for Wintershield.

She dislikes being poor and wishes to help those who are suffering, if not for the fact that she and her family are not in a good financial position.

Fascinated with many animals and would do nothing more than fawn over them if possible.

Tavern Room

A near attic like section with a small hammock. A small desk with several books, mostly received from her younger brother who's more than a little bit eager about many arts. All her letters are placed here. Small little trinkets adorn the area, from her travel all around the world. Photos of her whole family and some friends from the carnival that she used to work at.

On a small spot is an empty bed for a large pet. It's dusty.

Her bag of holding is always under her bed. A cabinet with a mug is always there, acting as a makeshift weapon. Has a small window above that she can peer out of.

Relationships with others (WIP)

• Aiden Thorin - A well-mannered, rational, and cool individual. Though she never really held interest in the rich (Neither hating them or wanting to get along with them) she thought that Aiden has proven time and time again that he's not just a mere detective or so. The frequent times they fought together made her believe that he's always a good friend to have, and a ferociously dangerous enemy otherwise. She is amused by the bits of time that Aiden reacts to the antics of everyone but is more than willing to help him in his relationship with Raiah, say as a distraction to get everyone to look away for him to escape or so on.
  • Ever since Aiden threatened to eat her in his werewolf form she has avoided him whenever he looked hungry.
  • She's actually curious if he's even a good detective.
  • Is glad that he started the idea of creating a Book Club for Croak and Dagger

You know, for a ferocious fighter he's kinda smart and sensible. Every guy in our team is friendly and nice, but Aiden has a big heart. He's also a big wolf sometimes. So I guess all in all he's pretty big. I'd hate to disappoint him. But really, usually you'd expect royalty to be snotty and kinda just a pain to deal with. Aiden has been anything but that. Now scary and too hungry whenever he's on wolf mode... Then we have an issue. But I hope we can fix that issue since he doesn't seem to want to stay as a werewolf.. Maybe...

So uh.... I died to him. And now I'm part of the whole deal thing. And he has a wolf god in him... Pretty nifty. Pretty cool. Pretty scary as hell... I can't really say I blame him or hate him for what happened. I went in there worried scared for everyone and wanting to be the one to take the hit rather than anyone else dying. It was just a series of coincidences I died. He's still one of the nicest person I know. I don't think I can ever hate him. But I'll definitely wince if I see those teeth though heh. Hope he deosn't get too upset over what happened but...

• Andol Thorin/Andol the Magnificent - She didn't know why Barbatos gave him his belongings and holds doubt on his reliability as a person initially. That changed very very quickly. She thinks of Andol as a friendly and amusing person who had always found a way to cheer everyone up, and had always risen again and again from being struck down. She values his intelligence and thinks of him as an opportunistic but well-intentioned individual and has always been curious about the concept of Goar. She is both horrified and amazed by the fact that he tried to change his close friend into a deity of some sort
  • Has lately been growing concerned and interested on who he really is after hearing him think little of a torture method of Jordun.
  • Is slightly bothered by how fast he's going through money to give gifts to everyone.
  • Really wishes to get him to Goar soon but with how things are a bit... blasty...

Slippery, magnificent, charming, has a way with words... I swear in another world he'd be a bard and he'd get everyone. People like him are reliable as allies overall. He's a very good friend to have. That said with how he's technically not a member of our guild I'm kinda concerned. He can be reckless in the heat of the moment but I know he can plan ahead. Still, I'm gonna be worried for him.

See what I mean with the explosion thing!?? Damnit I'm not dying and he's not dying before I get to know him more!

• Barbatos the benign - Crush. Someone that once saved her in the past from death and has since then developed a friendship and crush on him. Frequently traded letters with him regarding each other's state and her final letter was an invitation to join him. Though she knew the relationship could never work out, she was still distressed at the loss of a great close friend.

Rest well Barb.

• Bill & Ted - The reason that she got the job at the carnival was thanks to the support of many individuals, these two included. She briefly joked about her being sorry about working for the two, but she thinks of them as two smart and well-adjusted goblins. These two have always been a step up compared to many money-makers and though she wished to learn their craft, she wouldn't mind just working or being with them time to time.

They're good employers. They got me into the carnival business after all. Well, as a bodyguard and not a performer. But I was almost there.

• Caelrogh Soledad - She greatly despises him upon discovery that he was the one who killed Barbatos. Though being struck down with a single attack from him shook her, she never lost her hatred against him. However, she couldn't help but feel a twinge of pity for 'Carlos' fate.
  • Has taken to calling him Carlos as everyone else was.

Yeah, Carlos is pretty cool. I guess.

• Charles Harper - Thinks of him as an immense nerd. An immense nerd who helped Barbatos and thus someone she is thankful for. Having been dealing with the shenanigans of the group for so long, she has much respect to him. With the discovery that Sam and him are siblings, she doesn't wish to anger him for dating his sister but a side of her does aim to troll Charles. She's also aware of the circumstances regarding William and their father, and has nothing more than respect for Charles and what he did for his family.
  • Wishes to find William.

He's the second biggest nerd I know. I want to help him find his brother but considering how things are, that might be a bit tough... In general he's a good guy and I feel like he's someone who has talent but doesn't get enough merit for that. I want to let him know he's cool.

• Clymene - As one of the few who's been so kind to her and always concerned, Aileen is thankful for her but is self-conscious over whether she deserves that much attention from the elf. Though she thinks of her as a good person, Aileen takes note of how she's either surrounded by misfortune or causes some issues to herself. With how things are, Aileen wishes to be a shoulder for her to lean on after hearing everything that happened to her village and her overall life.
  • A potential romantic interest perhaps.
  • She does not know she blew up Maribelle and Andol.

I think she's a good person. She surprised me with how much she cared and helped for me that I'm kinda worried how she ignored the others at times. But she has a good heart. Even if she's awkward and ends up in horrible situations and seems to just be incredibly unlucky against the world. From how Barbatos made her sound, she's gotten a lot better too now if I compare. She's cool. I just hope I could be a shoulder to lean on considering how messed up things are going for her right now.

Change for the better. She's the reason I'm alive right now. I'm thankful for that. But at what costs? She's done a lot for me, but can't she take a look at herself and take care of herself too? I know there's good in her and she just doesn't know how to act it out properly, but I can always have faith that she's a core member of the team and will never backstab anyone. I need to talk to her and thank her for everything too.

• Craig Firebrand - He's a friendly fellow. He really loves Wintershield. His job as the technical caretaker of Croak and Dagger has her respect him for dealing with all their antics

I haven't even met him too much and he's already kidnapped. Gotta save him.. Give him a hand or something hahah.... Fuck we need to save him.

• Edgard Castille - No strong feelings.

• Gulak - She's very wary of his kleptomaniac ways. If for any reason he ever stole from her, she might end up attacking him. Despite that, welcomes him to the guild.

What the hell is this thing stay away from my money you parasitic Smeagol-OH GOD!!!

• Hildr Firebrand - She is not a fan of being the one who took off an arm of her friend and being someone who nearly knocked her down to the ground when mind controlled. However, she thinks of her as a cool person. Someone who's doing their best to remain a good individual despite everything that happened.

Hildr's pretty.... something. I don't think I can take former enemies lightly and I'll always prepare a blade against her if she gets brainwashed again... But I can see she's a good person now.

• Logan Karstark - Thinks very fondly of him who helped her get her confidence back and be more positive against the world. Not only that, but his chillax style and recent aid to Clymene puts him at a really good light to her.

Honestly something's off about him. I've seen that type of face before. But hopefully he's going to be fine. He's a very good person at heart so I better make sure to do my best to protect him. He helped me before, I'll help him again.

He's simultaneously the biggest idiot I know and also the grandest genius I know. He's got a way with words Mr B Team!! Well it's still nice he's using the shades I gave him though. He's dorky with how he is but he's also great. But he needs a bit more consideration for what he does as distractions.

• Lumira - Barely knows her but has a good view of her. She seems to be a level-headed individual who's good with kids.

She seems nice. She's welcome to the book club anytime. Not to mention another fellow babysitter for Marilka would be good.

• Lyra Roseshade - A good person to Aileen's eyes. They've yet to interact much but Aileen firmly thinks she kept losing to Raiah in a contest. Thinks she's also a very good singer and that Andol is a lucky man.

Hmm, she's super nice. Andol's lucky. I wonder if I can ask them about their past... I'd hate to know what would she feel if Andol were to lose his life or something so I'm going to make sure he doesn't die to the best of my ability.

• Maribelle Blackpyre - Though she doesn't know Maribelle well, she thinks of her as a good person like any other Croak and Dagger member. She sympathizes with a loss of a very close person to her and is more than happy to see her try to avoid death nowadays and even smile. With how everyone has set milestones, her current goal is to make Maribelle laugh at some point in the future.
  • Wishes to someday talk to her about her sister in a fishing trip perhaps.

Maribelle is cool. Right now I gotta figure out how to invite her to a fishing trip. Maybe we can hunt a whale or shark or something. Anyway with her losing her sister... I can empathize on losing someone like that. But I think unlike me she hasn't moved on fully yet. I hope I can help her on that stage at least.

So she just left us on that winery place? Alriiiight. I'm not saying it's a dick move... I mean smart move but also dick move. So yeah not just that. Heard from Logan she also kicked a lot of ass. I'll give her that, she's an amazing badass and she's honestly great. But I guess she's just not good with people either huh.

• Marilka Thyrnmur - The person that made Aileen reconsider ever getting kids. Though off to a bad start, she doesn't hate the kid and is actually on the side that wishes to keep her safe with everyone rather than be left alone to herself with no role models whatsoever.
  • She hopes to take care of her and keep her alive for Quoruk.
  • Is more than eager to train her how to fight, but times right now may make that difficult.

Ah? Her roast didn't make me cry... No really though. That was good. But I did feel psychic damage. I wonder if we can weaponize that? Anyway, a kid like her deserves better than what she's had so far. From how it looks, it seems like she's getting along with a lot of people and is getting better. Hopefully, we can protect her.

What? People are still talking about how I was calling her out like that- oh come on... Almost everyone wanted to send her back to the orphanage except me and Hildr and just because I was too busy trying to make a case for myself I'm the bad girl? Alright, making her cry was one thing. And I regret that. I'm no good with kids. But at least I want her to be happy with us rather than that orphanage.... Okay fine, bribing her with a gun to behave is unprofessional I give you that.

• Omerok - The most levelheaded and friendly of the group. Just like many she thinks of him as the uncle figure of the group. If ever asked to describe who would be a true hero to her, Omerok would immediately be on the top of the list. Despite that, she wishes to get to know him more since it seems everyone doesn't know him as extensively. She's now also curious about him handling animals and wondered if he could give pointers about Godd to her.
  • She hopes to give Godd to him in the case of any bad events.

True hero. But really though I want to know more about him. I want to learn how to take care of a giant goat properly too... Honestly though, what's the word that my brother would use... Oh right. He's a mad lad.

• Podrick Scott - Only barely knows him through Barbatos' letters but wishes to someday find him and just see who he is.

I... think I know him?

• Quoruk Cluiekill - She only heard of him through Barbatos' stories but even that was minimal. She feels immensely guilty for not being able to pronounce his name. Has very strong doubts and hesitation about bringing him back to life due the lesson taught to her by Ygrid.
  • Feels immensely guilty for repeatedly butchering his name.
  • Plans to make a statue for him

I'm sorry Quoruk... I barely knew you.

• Raiah Theron - Despite their lack of interactions thinks she's a nice and beautiful person. Supports her and Aiden's relationship and has attempted a prank of a gift for them prior to a true gift.

Still love that Wintershield gift I gave them~... But I hope they get that there's a second function to it.

• Sam Harper - Sam is one of the few who stunned Aileen's worldview. She thinks fondly of Sam and considers her as a very friendly and nice individual and was frankly swept up by her nature. Though Aileen has cemented, through numerous stutters and near-fainting experiences, that she was only semi-ready for a romantic relationship, she certainly wouldn't mind in the future.

I don't know what to say... I don't think I'm ready for this and I'd rather think about this after the world's ending. I don't think being in a relationship while in a world of possible backstabbing is a good idea. She's a really good person and I don't want to drag her into this mess we're in.

• Sayrax - Thinks of her as the little sister of the group and someone everyone wishes to protect.

She's nice and cute I think.

• Skulk Greymind - The dumbest and most sincere person she has ever met. Skulk is one of if not the purest souls she ever met. She's always amused by his antics but would also do her best to steer Skulk from trouble. Though she either fails on that due to Skulk being unstoppable or something else entirely.
  • She immensely despises his Noxious gas attack.
  • Made him a Helmet out of stone as a joke, but ended up getting too into it and made it a legitimate stone helmet
  • Proudly welcomes him to the Book Club

In another time maybe he and Wotjek would be intense rivals... Ah well!

• Visera Malestorm - Has only heard from letters about Visera and a few chance encounters. Thinks of her as a fascinating individual and wants to learn more about her.
  • She was very close to sending a Wintershield gift to her via Sayrax-Mail

I heard all the stuff about her. She seems really cool.

• Ygrid Ironborn - She could only think of her as a respectable individual whose presence makes her too fearsome to approach. Further cemented by that brief 'spar' they had together. Though she learnt a lot from her such as finding the value in life and not wishing to bring back the dead, and getting a fragment from Barbatos in the terms of Godd the goat.

She's good but she scares me. She's one of those people that... I end up respecting but I can't help but feel...

• Ymir Jotunkarth - Immensely amused by her romantic antics. Holds a bit of dislike due to hearing about her punch Clymene's throat but has a bit of respect for her in combat.

I don't think throat punching is cool nor swindling people off of the mighty Hammer of hers honestly.

Trivia

• Her goal is to go adventuring around the world and collecting souvenirs from each place alongside witnessing if not riding all the possible mounts and rideable animals there.
• For Halloween, due to not being able to afford pumpkins they have to rely on using large rocks for Jack-o-lanterns.
• Incredibly horrible with names.
  • Even more horrible with kids.
    • Has made one cry before in her failed attempt to console her.
• Jokingly a few times she had remarked that Croak and Dagger are great role models for kids. She currently regrets these statements.
• She wants to go fishing somewhere and grab that boat that she dreams to ride on.
• She once worked at a moving carnival with her bear, her objective being to become an amazing performer that would bring joy to everyone. It was a bit of a confident hitter to learn that she was a better guardian than her bear, and that Wotjek was a better performer than her.
• Was once in a one-sided crush with someone. She almost progressed to confessing before fate shut it down.
