Backstory
The Witch Who Lived
Also known as Tasha the Dark, Iggwilv is a legendary, realm-renowned archmage, demonologist, and siren. She famously wrote the Demonomicon of Iggwilv, a tome on demonic lore. Across historical texts, Tasha is considered one of the most powerful beings in what is described as the multiverse. A creator of spells, traveler of dimensions, and seer into the multiverse plane and all its threads. One of many iterations of Tasha's rise to power was that she was one of few girls accepted into the Parlusian Empire's covenhouse program, specifically Chimera Coven. Tasha was an incredibly detailed, regimented student with the highest test scores and performance of the Coven. Salvaged Parlusian documents allude to Tasha being an incredible kind, people-oriented student who started a study group with the other girls she grew close with. Historically, Tasha went on to stage a mass uprising, recruiting witches from across the coven systems to aide in Parlusia's destruction. She was painted as a wicked, malicious figure that laid waste to whole villages for her amusement.
It has been said, that a lifetime ago, Tasha had a daughter, Melanie who went on to join the Rangers of Oakvale. Her purpose for having Mel was said to be to use her as a vessel through which Tasha would become immortal. This sequence of events led to a rumored altercation between the Rangers and Tasha, which is said to have resulted in Tasha losing an eye, as well as her book. Like so many other aspects of her life, this could be pure rumor and speculation, as the life and history of the realm's greatest caster remains shrouded in mystery and tall tales.
