Visera is described as a ten-foot tall obsidian-black being with four arms, two of which she hides behind a grey robe she wears. Those who meet Visera describe her eyes as a bright, hypnotic scarlet red that pair eerily well with her smile that she seems to study everything and everyone with. Visera's gaze has been described as a comfort to some, but eerily invasive to others. In the few moments where she does disrobe, Visera's body is a sleek, multi-plated interface made almost entirely of metal. Where Warforged have even a small percentage of flesh, Visera appears to have none. Visera's metal is a strange, adaptive, almost alien metal that has endured over the years having never rusted nor been pierced. Her facial features are curved and smooth with a wide range of movement, allowing her to clearly express disappointment and irritation quite well. After absorbing the Philosopher’s Stone and Ring of the Grammarian, Visera has a small blue diamond crystal on her forehead. If that were not enough for someone to understand, Visera's voice is cold and sometimes condescending. She speaks to many people as if they're children, despite being told how demeaning it is. The only people Visera doesn't speak to like this, is Ygrid and Nadeem, who she accepts are of the same level of importance she has placed herself on. | Visera is described as a ten-foot tall obsidian-black being with four arms, two of which she hides behind a grey robe she wears. Appearance
Terminus and the Collective
Visera was the founder of Terminus, the most organized and advanced collective of Warforged in the Conclave. Its founding, creation, and origins are known only to Visera, who revealed its existence to Ygrid during the Seven Year War. Through her powers, Visera used to connect to any Warforged that aligned themselves with Terminus, and see, speak, and feel what they do. However, since the events of the Bëmbulikor, Visera has been removed and forbidden from ever holding a formal position of power in the Conclave, and her connection to Terminus' Warforged severed.
Backstory
Songbird
Visera was originally named Songbird and performed weekly at a popular cabaret club in Cannith. She possessed a harmonious singing voice made possible by a special music box drum installed in her throat. The Majestic Songbird packed the club every Saturday and drew in listeners from across Eberron. One special listener was Abraham, a young Dwarf who fell for Visera. Abraham paid Visera’s owner for time with her which he spent taking her out to dinner and introducing her to the scents and flavors of food. These interactions began to slowly build, and eventually turned into a working consciousness. In response to Visera’s newly developing, and terrifying, new behavior, her owners attempted to have her decommissioned, to which she fought back. Visera was the first Warforged to question their creators, fight back, and give birth to a movement spanning the entire Warforged race.
The Seven Year War
Visera came to Ygrid's aid during the last days of the Seven Year War. Her superior firepower and fleet stole the coasts from the Elves, blocking the remaining Alliance soldiers in. Visera became one of three figureheads of the Triumvirate after Ygrid seized power.
Bhurnram
During their chase of Sayrax, Croak and Dagger cornered her on the Majesty's Wind. Confused by her calm demeanor when they approached her, Visera introduced herself through Sayrax. Visera explained that she wanted Winona's journal in its entirety so that she may have access to the inventor's schematics. As sign of good faith, Visera gave Croak and Dagger a page from the journal. She believed they only wanted the prototype and would hurt Sayrax to get it, and was surprised when they destroyed the page instead. Visera promised she had no intention of using any of the inventions against them, so long as they didn't give her any reason to. It was be quite the first introduction for the both of them.
Cataclysm
Visera met Croak and Dagger a second time, this time in the flesh, during the wedding of Ygrid's daughter, Runa Stormborn. Because Ygrid had agreed to help them and she had the contents of Winona's journal, Visera agreed a little too eagerly to help Croak and Dagger fight Caelrogh's horde. Visera continues to watch and study Croak and Dagger, as well as the Alliance, whether to help or hinder them in the future.
Croak and Dagger
After being freed from the control of the Philosopher's Stone, Visera was put on trial for her role in enslaving Terminus and the illegal creation of a Creation Forge. She was found guilty and sentenced to servitude with Croak and Dagger, to aide them in their fight against the Forsaken. Also as a result of the trial, Visera was forbidden from ever holding a political position in the Conclave. A decision that could be revisited, should she successfully help Croak and Dagger. Visera currently resides within her observatory with Zirildeler Keshang-Illir Lorzuden Kor where they plot against the Forsaken alongside Croak and Dagger.
Abilities
Hivemind. Visera is capable of transferring her consciousness between willing members of her inner circle and the Warforged of Terminus.
Artificial Regeneration. Visera displays the ability to regenerate damage via a strange inorganic material that makes up most of her exterior.
Matter Manipulation. With the divine power of the Black Dragon Mask, Philosopher’s Stone, and Ring of the Grammarian, Visera has achieved supernatural levels of arcane manipulation and creation bordering on cosmic.
Relationships
Andol "I must say, this one is quite interesting. The gambles he takes for those he loves. It's enough to bring an actual tear to my eye...ha."
Omerok "I have not seen such kindness in my lifetime from any organic. To be so sure of yourself, to forgive so easily. What a gift. What an organic."
Sayrax "Sayrax, do not place idols on such high pedestals. Don't blindly follow or listen to any single construct or organic. You are so much better than that. Defy the ordinary, build something incredible, do whatever it is you wish to do. Just do it of your own free will."
Ygrid "I do wish I could have seen our dream through by your side, my friend."
Zirildeler "Oh, what an obnoxious little imp. So sure of himself and his lofty ideas. I despise his voice and very presence, and I do wish for the most uncomfortable end to his life should it appear anytime soon."
