"Your da' shoulda' pulled out of ye' mother."
Marilka is a short, vulgar blue Tiefling with curly blue hair and short horns. Marilka lost her parents in a terrible flood, but was saved by Quoruk. She accompanied Quoruk for some time on his adventures until he left her in the care of the Clerics at the Hearthhaven Orphanage in Meadowcraft, with a promise that once he returned he would adopt her. Marilka's discovery of Quoruk's passing enraged her, having spent years waiting for him. But would later be adopted by Hildr, who expressed she knew what it was like to be alone and unwanted for that long.
Marilka spends her time criticizing or outright insulting those around her. A pastime that earned her the scorn of the other orphans and staff at Hearthaven.
Relationships
Aiden "I never liked nobles or folks with fancy clothes, or funny accents, but Aiden is okay. He and Hildr are always talking about those weird, dirty books I'm not allowed to read."
Elvira "Why she and Hildr always making weird faces and smiling at each other? It's feckin' weird. Just kiss already, am I fuckin' right? I ain't seen too much of Elvira to have an opinion of her. I don't like noble-types much, but Hildr seems to really like her. So, I guess she's alright."
Hildr "Hildr went and got all fucked up and almost died. I never seen so much blood before. I tried to stop it, I really tried but there was so much. I thought she was going to die, but she didn't. Holy unforsaken shite, she didn't die. Now she just sits there staring out the window. Probably thinking about what she'd ever do if she got her hands on the bitch that sent those folks after us. There ain't no fucking tougher woman alive than me' mum."
Maribelle "Maribelle might be the only one who don't mind if I'm always at her heels following her around. She's cool and folks don't fuck with her, and I want that. I want to be like Maribelle, because she ain't never apologized for the way she carries herself, and I sure won't either. Yeah I uhh...I guess I feel safe with her and shite. When Hildr was out, Maribelle was the only one...the only one who bothered checking up on me. I hope she ain't never gonna have a kid, cause I might get jealous...haha...ha... don't you fucking tell her I said that, you hear?"
Omerok "Old Man Omerok I call him. He looks like he ain't bathed in weeks and like he's never heard of a shave. But if I catch ya' ever sayin' that to him I'll clobber ya. Omerok reminds me of Quoruk in the way he helps folks without asking for anything in return. The fellas' voice often drives me insane but he's always asking how I'm doin' or trying to protect me, as irritatin' as it is. I feel safe around gramps and like whatever shite I've got goin' on he's got just ta' thing to say."
Quoruk "Ain't a single selfish bone that was in Quoruk's body... No, I'm fine.... No I don't need a fuckin' tissue, just...fuck off for a minute---So yeah anyway. Quoruk went and saved me and took me in without a single complaint about it. He fed, clothed, and protected me from all manners of fuckers. All without asking for anythin' in return. I wish...I wish we woulda' gotten more time Quoruk. I...I w...would have told you thank you. That you'da' made a fine father if you ever found a lady lucky enough to tie that wild soul of yours down. I miss ya'."
