Also known as the ''Moros Azgul'' in Abyssal or the ''Alturathi'' in Sylvan, '''the Seekers''' are cloaked warriors and deathly shrieking spirits that work on behalf of the Death domain. Primarily followers of Kelemvor, the Raven Queen, and even Vecna, the Seekers's origins stem back to the first organized religions during Zero Year. Its first followers believed that death was inevitable, and only through respectful worship could one avoid an untimely death, or painful afterlife. This meant that necromancy was the highest disrespect one could practice. Throughout Zero Year, these followers began arming themselves and attacking anyone who practiced necromancy, whether it be a village or a cult. The Seekers who most closely followed Kelemvor and the Raven Queen, were believed to join their service in the afterlife as ghastly wraiths that hunted souls and humanoids that tried to cheat death. Despite public opinion about armed worshippers of death, the Seekers remain a necessary dark force that bring balance to the light of the world.
