It's a common stop for those travelling between Val-Adin and Meadowcraft and has been the meeting place of famous adventuring parties and guilds. Oakvale's primary agricultural imports included livestock products, vegetable crops, and their famous Gnashing Cider. Life in Oakvale is a peaceful, warm, often uneventful one where everyone knows and takes care of one another.

As of ''Campaign 1'', Oakvale is run by Mayor '''Tobias Fillmore''', a well-mannered, well-liked gentleman who was the great grandson of one of Oakvale's first pioneers. Below Tobias are a number of local merchants and citizens that serve on the town council.

The eager and hungry members used the Trap Jaw as their temporary meeting place before moving on to greener pastures.
