Sofka has two incredibly different moods, total melancholy and outright hostile. She has been hardened by a life that took her daughter from her at some point in her life, and reflects that pain on anyone foolish enough to fight her. The other pack leaders describe Sofka's loyalty to Dimitri as something more romantic, though none of them are brave enough to say it outright.
