Letter to "M" is a letter from Calm Daniel to a mysterious "M".
M,
I am writing in response to your letter, about Sarkas. It's touching how much you care for him, and it even got me thinking about my own son. You'll be glad to hear I had the chance to speak to some friends of his who told me (truthfully, I guarantee) that Sarkas is, and will continue to be, in the city of Frostpoint.
Unfortunately, these friends killed some of my greatest men, whom I'd sent to retrieve Sarkas. So I will, therefore, have to deal with these friends. I'm sure you understand. After that I'll send someone else up to bring him back here. Once he's back I'll pass along your gift to him. I just know he'll love it.
