The Arathama (elvish for War of the Gods), also known as the Second Holy War, was a war between the gods in the early days of the material plane. The two sides of the war were that of law and of chaos, lead by Rend and Zôz respectively.

Oghma and Jergal sided with Rend, while Pelor and Cyric sided with Xox. The battlefield of this war was the material plane, which lead to a resistance of mortals trying to end the conflict. The conflict would come to an end with the signing of the Divine Pact.
