It was deliberately planted in order to make [[Second Party\|the party]] to suspect [[Glory Nestaff]] of being connected to the [[Dark Moon]], take suspicion away from Tarvoh, and lure them to [[Kord Koldar]] (where Tarvoh assumed [[Lod Blackstone]] would kill them).

	This new crew came back from their mission a success. They captured a prisoner, a young hobgoblin named [[Oraan]], though I'm not sure how much he knows. I’m sure we will find out soon enough, as [[Nebaske von Mostliat\|Nebaske]] and [[Glory Nestaff\|Glory]] are doing the interrogation. This comes as a bit of a surprise to me, as [[Kathleen Darby\|Kathleen]] would normally be the one joining Nebby, not Glory. Regardless, I’m glad these new recruits are showing the promise I predicted of them. When I get the chance I have to be sure to thank them.		This new crew came back from their mission a success. 	Last night I had a strange, worrying dream. I dreamt that the city, all of it, was on fire, yet also frozen. The towers of [[New Stormcastle]] in flames and ice, and the silhouette of a huge dragon flying across the sky. A chaotic mess of contradicting destruction. I was standing on top of the [[Mr. Lucky's Lucky 13 Hotel and Casino\|Lucky 13]] with no way down. From that vantage point I saw that the flames extended through the mountains to the north, toward [[Lin]]; and down the roads to the south, toward [[Goldmask (city)\|Goldmask]]. The whole [[Kingdom of Goldmask\|Empire]], perhaps the whole world, being destroyed. It was certainly an unpleasant experience to wake from, but I shouldn’t let these things cloud my mind. Dreams are only reflections of my own mind and my own fears, they have no purpose in the real world. This means nothing. That’s what I have to assure myself of. I’m worried. I try to stay calm when I am able but right now, I am worried. I went to check on Glory in her laboratory to find she has been obsessively stewing over her notes from the interrogation, all day and all night. She believes Oraan and this gang he is a member of are planning something dangerous, something about an ancient Dwarven artifact, untold destruction, and apocalyptic predictions. She was speaking fast and worried and even a bit angry when she left. I tried to convince her not to go. As best I can figure she is going to the Dwarven ruins of [[Kord Koldar]], in the mountains north of [[Drain]]. She is by no means an explorer of dangerous ruins, and neither am I but I feel obliged to go after her. She’s going to get herself killed in there, and someone needs to save her. I’m going to go after her. Hopefully I can catch up with her and talk her down from her conspiracy before she is too far gone.
