	The [[Second Party]] ~~fought and killed him~~ in [[Kord Koldar]], ~~but~~ he returned in [[Galoth's Garden]]~~, still~~ working with [[Clifford A. Tarvoh]] and apparently [[Maru the Bard]]. He ~~tried and failed~~ to stop the party from entering the portal to the [[Feywild]].		==Biography==
			At some point before the campaign began, [[Gulak]] attempted to steal from Lod. Lod caught Gulak and threatened to kill him unless he worked for him. After this, Gulak began to work for Lod.

			The [[Second Party]] first encountered Lod briefly in the [[Western Watchtower]], where they heard his voice instructing [[Glory Nestaff]] to kill the party as he went to [[Kord Koldar]]. He then teleported away, leaving Glory to fight the party.

			The party followed Lod to [[Kord Koldar]] where he teleported into the burial chamber of the princes. The dungeon proved trying for the party, and they had to take a rest in it, which gave time for Lod to prepare for the party's arrival. Notably, he animated several mummies including the two princes and several more which were hid in the ceiling, and he cast a powerful Symbol near the entrance to the chamber which took out [[Wurt]] for the entirety of the fight. During the fight, Gulak betrayed Lod and helped the party to fight him. When Lod was close to death, he took his staff and whacked [[Duffa]] with it, releasing necrotic energy that killed him and harmed the party. Duffa took the remains of his spellbook, and the hand from his corpse which she would later attach to [[Fuckhands McMike]].

			Despite being killed and his corpse destroyed, Lod returned in [[Galoth's Garden]]. It was revealed he working with [[Clifford A. Tarvoh]] who was secretly the leader of the Dark Moon, and apparently [[Maru the Bard]] who the party also thought was dead. Lod and Maru evidently were liches. He was tasked by Tarvoh to stop the party from entering the portal to the [[Feywild]], but ultimately failed after a harrowing battle where he nearly killed [[Nideschaton]] but was resisted by [[Scorch]], who took a particular interest in defeating him.

			==Appearance==
			In life, Lod was a bulky dwarf with a stout, typical dwarven build. He had black hair and a long black beard tied in a knot. When encountered in Kord Koldar, he was wearing a sleeveless leather tunic, revealing his buff hairy arms.

			When seen as a lich, he appeared as a black skeleton. The bottom half of him appears as smoke as he hovers. His magic takes the form of green-colored fire. He wears an ephemeral gray robe, with the sleeves torn off, revealing his creepy skeletal arms.
