	Drain is a city in the [[Kingdom of Goldmask]]~~. It is known as the "worst city in the Kingdom"~~.		Drain is an independent city that sits between the [[Kingdom of Goldmask]] and [[Cinderdale]].

			Within Goldmask, it is known as the "worst city in the Kingdom" despite not actually being part of the Kingdom.

	Drain is a small city packed full of small shanties, clay domes, thatched huts, warped wooden shacks. Many of the buildings look ramshackle. Multi-story buildings in the city are layered, with shacks being build on top of others with ramps and stairs connecting them. There are no roads in the city, only dirt footpaths and alleyways. Very little vegetation grows in the city, except for some weeds poking through between the structures. 			The ground in the city and surrounding area is a red clay, which is used in construction of the city's buildings giving them a distinct color which is shared by the Red River.

The Yawning Portal is a tavern and inn owned and operated by [[Durnan]]. It is located in the basement level of another building. In the center of the tavern is a large boarded-up well that leads to the [[Undermountain]].
