==History==
Before the war, Cinderdale was massively in debt to [[Vask Sil]], [[Governor]] of [[Stormhold]]. Vask offered to absolve the debt in exchange for Cinderdale officially joining the Kingdom of Goldmask. Cinderdale's King [[Azar III]] was resisting the deal at the will of the people, most of which wanted to remain independent. The Horde was living in tribes spread throughout the [[Stonehills]], loosely connected but following the leadership of [[Lumia Snick]] for warfare.

The war began by the Horde unexpectedly attacking [[Clackum Falls]], which was then the capital city of Cinderdale. At first the Horde caught the unsuspecting Cinderdale off-guard and quickly took the cities of Clackum Falls and [[Zulaport]]. The royal family retreated to [[Mudwell]], which became the new capital of Cinderdale to this day. Not long after, the Horde took [[West Wave]] and began closing in on smaller villages between the cities.
