Ormu is a star genasi member of the Gloom Striders. He worked with Sunrise and Jedediah "Doc" Sutton to rescue the Undaris guild leaders taken from Morket.
Biography
Ormu awoke in the underdark with no memories of his past life before this point. With him was only his Staff of Fire and Helm of Teleportation. He was found by drow of the Gloom Striders, who nicknamed him Ormu after the bioluminescent fungus of the same name that grows in the underdark. They brought him in and he became a valuable member of the Gloom Striders due to his control over fire, combat prowess, ability to cast Teleport, and willingness to help.
Eventually Ormu was chosen to assist Commander Adania Red and the other Gloom Stalkers who would join her in Morket for a meeting to discuss the Thenalion Empire and the disappearances they were causing in Undaris. He would Teleport them all and then join as a guard. After the fortress where visiting leaders were saying was attacked and many were killed or kidnapped, Ormu joined the team organized by Master Huntress Hyalin (consisting of Hyalin, Wires, Grim, The Eyes, Sunrise, and Jedediah "Doc" Sutton) to rescue them. After Eyes learned through scrying that the leaders were being kept at the ruins of Arcath, Ormu teleported himself, Sunrise, and Doc there and went through the swamp into the subterranean base. Inside they fought through the Thenalion forces to the lower level where Commander Red, Commander Nightbreeze, Commander DS-01, Captain Maroth, 76, and Mutant Zero were being kept. Through clever deception and magic, the trio was able to escape with all the prisoners except for Mutant Zero who exploded himself (he's fine). Ormu was also able to gather some disguised documents about the Thenalion Empire's military plans before teleporting everybody back to Morket. When there, Ormu revealed Captain Maroth to be a Thenalion Inquisitor in disguise. Ormu delivered the documents to Commander Red who promoted him to be her bodyguard.
