Appearance
F-Zero is a tall warforged with black metal plates, glowing blue highlights, and green eyes. He was originally bald when he initially joined the Redeemers, but comically grew a pure white afro during the 3 year timeskip. After the timeskip, he wears his red headband over his eye, as a functioning eye patch. He usually wears a green cloak fashioned as a scarf. This cloak was gifted to him by W.3.B., and has spiders inside to keep in contact with her.
Personality
F-Zero isn't a very smart individual, and has a degree of naiveté caused by not knowing much about the world. Being with the Redeemers awakened a level of sass within the warforged, often making cheeky remarks about the gaps in logic he sees. However, F-Zero has a great deal of trouble committing things to memory, even after getting the chip for it fixed. After dying, however, caused him to lose any amount of optimism he still had within him. This leads to constant brooding, and a somewhat negative, yet angry attitude regarding the current situation at hand. Another one of F-Zero's worst traits is his confidence in his abilities. He often feels like he doesn't measure up to the other Redeemers, and gets his point proven on a regular basis. F-Zero is also surprisingly tenacious (as shown when he sparred with Raas), and has a decent heart (as shown with his attempted sacrifice to save Gale). After sparring with Raas, F-Zero grew to dislike fighting as a whole, and continued to see it as a pointless endeavor. However, this didn't stop him from fighting altogether.

Abilities
Phantom Awakening - After being thrown into a forest, F-Zero awakened to his inner self, a Phantom known as Silvanus. This phantom fights alongside F-Zero with every attack, and does not speak much. Its weakness is lightning, and it resists necrotic damage.
Phantom Guard - F-Zero increases his defenses for a short amount of time, making him harder to hit, unless the enemy lands a critical blow.
Third Eye - This ability allows F-Zero to be able to see things he normally cannot, but only if he focuses.
Chaos Ball - A manifestation of F-Zero's love for all things basketball. Sometimes, it takes the form of other sports balls. It deals necrotic damage as F-Zero throws, kicks, or spikes it.
Phantom Evolution - After surviving Vernegala, F-Zero's phantom evolved into Aegis. While it functions the same way, it carries a shield and vows to tap the user with it every time he suffers from his usual bad luck. Its weakness turned into a resistance, and it is immune to Necrotic damage.
Razor Wings - Originally belonging to Gale, F-Zero took these wings and began using them to fly, and can shoot projectiles out of them.
Gun Arm - F-Zero turns one of his arms into one of the various guns he holds.
Grappling Hook - Utilizing his gun arm, F-Zero also carries a grappling hook. While it doesn't automatically pull him, he has to reel in the wire for it to pull him into his destination.
Boon of Invincibility - Only used during the Light Eater fight, F-Zero shouts a certain phrase, very temporarily shielding him from any incoming damage.
Relationships
Master Don - The only creature F-Zero has ever viewed as a father. Despite how hard the tortle pushed him in training, he loves Don unconditionally.
Hurricane - One of F-Zero's biological siblings. He usually doesn't agree with Hurricane's views of war and child soldiers. F-Zero "borrowed" his signature phrase when activating his epic boon.
Whirlwind - Another one of F-Zero's siblings. She and her brother didn't share too many words, but F-Zero still is willing to protect her regardless.
Typhoon - Yet another of F-Zero's siblings. He and F-Zero share similar battle tactics, with the latter acting as more of an all-rounder. He still isn't sure how to feel about Typhoon's more recent "distraction".
Gale - The last of F-Zero's siblings. She once wielded the Red Separator and the Razor Wings, before F-Zero took them off her corpse. He tried to protect her from Adelard, Gemini, and Alberto after she (while possessed) beheaded Raas. She shares F-Zero's phantom abiltiies, although with less usage of it.
W.3.B. - F-Zero's wife. He nearly immediately took a shine to her after imitating Raas's behavior towards spiders. He loves everything about her, and would do anything for her. W.3.B., along with some help from Drynn, helped bring the warforged back from death after 3 years. She ended up becoming one of his reasons to continue fighting, even though he didn't want to. F-Zero even landed the killing blow to Vatoma in her name. After the events of Campaign 1, he married and moved in with her.
Trivia
- Despite sharing his name with a certain high-speed Nintendo racing game, F-Zero got his nickname from the letter and first number of his serial.
- F-Zero was originally inspired by Android 16, a tall robot who loves nature and wants to see it flourish.
- While it is unknown how F-Zero grew hair, his last words to Eden were "Imagine having hair, couldn't be me." while she was picking up her childhood comb.
- His favorite color is forest green.
- F-Zero has only lost basketball games to Yggdrasil and Raas, with a 1 point lead a game with Adelard.

Song Meanings
Lazy Days -Livin' In Paradise- by Ted Poley ~ Sonic Adventure - This song is essentially goes with F-Zero's life before and after traveling with the Redeemers. When I think of F-Zero, this was the first song to come to mind.
This Machine by Julien K ~ Sonic Heroes - This song encapsulates F-Zero as a character, as he further discovers the truth about himself, as well as his past before waking up in The Wilds.
Through the Fire by Crush 40 ~ Sonic & the Black Knight - This could be considered as one of F-Zero's campaign 2 battle themes. Ironically, he is (in a way) based off of Sonic the Hedgehog and him gaining a sword doesn't help the parallels.
N. Sanity Island ~ Crash Twinsanity - Usually, F-Zero has a lot of head empty moments, so the classic no thoughts, head-empty song has to be there.
Metal Scratchin' (Parts 1 and 2) ~ Sonic Rush - He's a robot.
The Only Thing I Know For Real by Jamie Christopherson ~ Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - The sword, wings, and metal plates weren't the only things F-Zero took from Gale.
Cannonball (Gametal Remix by Jonny Atma) ~ Mega Man Zero 3 - F-Zero's pretty much a Mega Man character at this point.
Mechanical Rhythm ~ Xenoblade Chronicles - The title was just fitting, and the song's a banger.
Wonderball 101 - Tables Turnover (Quad City DJs vs Platinum Star Games feat. Fort Minor) - This song is THE F-Zero theme song, if he were to have one. Ballin' is what he does best.
Rivers in the Desert by Shoji Meguro, Benjamin Franklin and Lyn Inaizumi - One of the many Persona songs for the character that has essentially just that.
Trap Phantasm (Gametal Remix by Jonny Atma) ~ Mega Man ZX - See Cannonball.
Background (Spoilers)
Over a thousand years ago, F-Zero existed on New Genesis with his siblings, Hurricane, Gale, Whirlwind, and Typhoon. After being kidnapped and turned into a weapon by Dr. Draconovitch, F-Zero put the dragonborn in a wheelchair before being shut down and thrown into a forest. There, he met Don on one of his usual walks, and the tortle took him in as one of his own.
