Meridian Club

One of the three crime families in league with the Forsaken. The Meridian Club is the richest, most obnoxiously posh white-collar criminals this side of the realm. They have their hands in every corner of politics, using their influence to keep the likes of the Carta Cartel and Nightsisters out of jail and making money. The Meridian Club supposedly got their start working as an extension of the Realm's Bank. Moving and having access to that much gold got the best of the founding members who shifted some numbers around in favor of their own businesses. This was caught immediately and the founders were thrown into the deepest hole the Realm's Bank could afford to dig, but the damage was done. The money was out into the wind, in the pockets of loyal Club members who began to buy and bribe their way into a criminal empire.
